Innovative technology and equipment for extraction of bio-active substances from herbs and spices
A Bulgarian research institute has developed an innovative technology and equipment for extraction of bio-active substances from wild or cultivated plants using solvent extraction techniques. It can be applied for extraction of various agents such as pharmaceuticals, nutriments, flavors, colorants, etc. The exhausted vegetable mass is environment friendly. The unit seeks industrial partners under commercial agreement with technical assistance.
